Connection guides

TradeMirror only offers connections that can record the whole decision — every stop move, target change and partial close — because that is the only thing behavioural review can be built on. Sources that report finished trades and nothing else are not offered.

Platform disclaimer

TradeMirror is a trade-recording, behavioural analytics and educational self-review tool. It does not provide investment advice, personal recommendations, trading signals, portfolio management or trade execution. Insights are based on historical activity and hypothetical scenarios and should not be treated as recommendations to buy, sell, hold or modify any financial instrument. Trading involves substantial risk. Past performance and simulated results do not guarantee future outcomes.

Connect cTrader

about 3 min

Authorise read-only access once. cTrader then reports your order and position history to TradeMirror from its own servers, so recording continues while your computer is off.

Connect MetaTrader 5

about 6 min

Install the TradeMirror recorder on one chart. It reacts the instant your terminal accepts a change, so stop moves and partial closes are recorded as decisions, not reconstructed from history afterwards.

Connect MetaTrader 4

about 6 min

The same recorder, built for MT4. MetaTrader 4 has no trade-transaction event, so the recorder re-checks every open order four times a second — fast enough that a stop move is timestamped to the moment you made it.

Connect a custom webhook

about 15 min

For anything that can POST JSON: your own bridge, a broker API script, or a platform TradeMirror does not support yet. You decide what is sent, so the record is exactly as complete as your script.

Connections that are not offered

TradingView alerts, broker CSV exports and spot-exchange trade history can only tell TradeMirror that a trade opened and closed. They cannot say when a stop was moved or a target was cut short, so they cannot support the analysis this product exists for. If you already have data from one of these, it stays readable in your account and is marked archived. Tradovate and NinjaTrader are being built and will be listed here when they can record at full fidelity.
